This was my first meeting with Dr. Kara’s. He was very welcoming and made me feel very relaxed. He lived up to the positive things I had heard about him from other people. Went to see Dr. Karas for consultation on hip replacement. His staff is very friendly, answers all your questions, discusses all options, and their professionalism is top notch. I would definitely recommend them to others.*

I had another visit to Dr Karas for increased knee pain while waiting for my 1st Hip Surgery due in about 2 months.
I’m always so pleased by the warmth and caring from the entire staff. From check in to the kindness of the Xray technician who was very patient and helpful as I struggled with pain from hip to ankle to be able to position my knee X-rays.
Short wait followed to be seen by Dr Karas and his staff. I was told that this relatively new pain in my R Knee was due to my hip issue and would be relieved once I had surgery.
I was so grateful to find out I wouldn’t need knee surgery after my 2 hip replacements.
I was immediately given an injection in that knee and prescribed an anti inflammatory medication which has substantially reduced my pain.
As always I am encouraged that I am in great hands.
I need to add how quickly and the genuine concern I receive every time I call or email Dr Karas’ office from his PA’s especially Alexis.

The Xray tech did not tell me to hand in the sheet of paper so I waited in the waiting room for an hour and a half for my appointment. When the doctor came in, he was very very quick because I was an hour and a half late for my appointment!?*

There Doctor was very polite with me and available to answer any questions I had. I was very impressed with the staffs concerns of mine and their ability of taking the time to explain to me in detail what I should know entering and my post operations responsibilities and course of rehab. I had been dealing with unprofessional hospitals and clinics for the last two years in pain!! Everyone was not providing me with the proper help. I changed hospitals and decided to try RUSH and just hand picked a doctor and Dr. Vasili Karas was who I had chose and WOW!! what an amazing experience. He sent me in for X-rays got the results the same day he viewed them and Immediately knew what to do and how to do it!! I go in for surgery in2 months!! I'm so happy!! He's professional, caring, smart and to the point!!*
