Though I had to wait for so long to get to surgery due to various postponements and scheduling availability, I am glad it finally happened and my experience with dr Karas has been a positive one. His pleasant and friendly demeanor put me at ease and helped me overcome my anxiety about the surgery. My pain was under control from the very beginning and Dr Karas’s instructions for proper recovery were very clear and easy to follow. Dr Kara’s was very personable yet professional. He helped to make my decision regarding a knee replacement recommending that my symptoms did not warrant such a surgery, especially at my age (81). Other options were discussed so I will contemplate the choices. I thank him for his honesty.*
